Virginia Shirey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Shirey of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, born in Wyano, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Konkoly and Caroline Konkoly (Mason); her husband Calvin S. Shirey; her son-in-law Charles D. McNamara Sr.; her brother Joseph Konkoly; her brother-in-law James Hresko; and her niece Karen Stahl Kieffer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Shirey McNamara (Neil Watko) and Debra Shirey Balotsky (Robert); her grandchildren, Charles D. McNamara Jr. (Rachel), Kristen Balotsky McGuire (Tom), Meredith McNamara O'Connor (Jake), Breton H. McNamara and Robert A. Balotsky Jr.; her great grandchildren, Emelyn, Evan O'Connor, Fenna McNamara, Josie and Sam McGuire; and her siblings, Mary Ann Stahl (David), Patricia Hresko and William Konkoly.
