He is survived by: his wife Audrey Spagnolo Saftner; his son Siegfried Clayton Saftner (Heather); his grandchildren, Cora, Emma, Luke, Brock, James and Cale; and his sisters, Joanne Smith and Linda Welsh (Dan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh or Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School.
