He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Albert and Sylvia Ruth Shaffer Lipscomb; and his siblings, Robert, Allen, Chet Lipscomb, Velma "Poke" Roy and Virginia "Jennie" Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Hartman); his sons, Eric (Amy) of Cranberry Twp and Jason Lipscomb (Malisa Sommers) of Marshall Twp; his grandchildren, Ryan, Ashly, Ethan, Kate, Mia and Julia Lipscomb; and his siblings, Randolph, Gary Lipscomb (Lynn) of Parsons, WV, Mary Lipscomb-Litman of Shadyside and Carol Godfrey of Parsons, WV.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
