Nicholas Carl Giver Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicholas Carl Giver of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Giver and Gail E Holton Giver; his siblings-in-law, Carole Totin, Robert Wertz, Richard Wertz, Ronald Totin and Edward Strugalski; his son-in-law Paul Wolfe; and also, Joseph and Ruth Wertz (McKinney).
He is survived by: his wife Marylu (Wertz); his daughters, Susan Nelson (Greg), Christina Watkins (Bob), Donna Johnston (Brian), Carla Magdamo (Kirwan) and Mary Jo Plunkard (Tom); his grandchildren, Mitchell Wolfe, Grace, Lily, Caroline Magdamo, Rebecca, Christian Johnston, Victoria and Nicholas Plunkard; his half-sister Mary Ethel Hague of Sewickley; his cousin Janice Baxter; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Wertz (Marie), Eleanor Wertz and Ruth Ann Strugalski.
Regrettably, due to the current pandemic restrictions, the visitation, funeral, and burial will be limited to immediate family only.
In his memory, donations can be made to organizations he supported that assist needy families, including the Salvation Army and Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Donations can also be made in his name to St James School.
