She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick M. Schermerhorn and Irene B. Schaffer Schermerhorn of Economy Boro; her husband Joseph R. Meinert; her sister Irene Friel (late Thomas); her nephew Charles Friel; her sister Lillian Gross (late Paul); her siblings-in-law, Thomas Meinert (late Millie) and Margaret Forsythe (late Thomas); and her nephew Dennis Forsythe.
She is survived by: her son John A. Meinert (Renee Byrne) of Harmony; and her grandsons, Jonathan J., Justin W. and Joseph R. Meinert, II. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
