She was predeceased by: her spouse John "Jack" Emery; and her sibling Ruth Aber. She is survived by: her child Stephanie Emery; her siblings, Jay Gipson, Betty Lehman and Richard Gipson; and her child Office of Development. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development 1645 W. 8th St. Erie PA 16505.
