It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Meister of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meister and Helen Meister. He is survived by: his wife Louise Uhlenburg; his daughters, Julie and Betsy; and his grandchildren, Casey, Cale, John Hunter and Evan. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Grove City College.

“My name is Barbara Giddes. I am a friend of the Meisters. I played golf for many years at Dunwoody Country Club with Louise. I tried calling Louise yesterday and learned their cell phone had been disconnected. Louise told me several months ago that John had a skin cancer on his cheek. I found John's obituary this morning. Is Louise still at the same retirement village? If so, please give her a hug for me! I loved Louise and John!”
