With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles V. Bender of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 24, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles B. Bender and Betty J. Bender; his children, Adam (Hyunyoung Song) of Sunnyvale, CA and Elizabeth (Matthew Carter) of New York, NY; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Ansel Bender and Louis Carter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Northland Public Library, the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, and the Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation.
