He is survived by: his children, Jeff Gruber, Dana Welsh (Daron), Heidi Marshall, Nicole Nagle (John) and Shannon Gruber (Alan); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, William, Lorin, Rachel, Joshua, Jorden, Cameron and Gianna; his nephew Randy; and his nieces, Susan and Amy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's of Glenfield Church.
