He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano S. Alfonso and Cristeta Alfonso (Marquez). He is survived by: his wife Benilda "Ibie" Alfonso (Limjuco); his sons, Anthony Alfonso (Cynthia Walentosky) and Noel L. Alfonso; and his sisters, Annie Virata (late Nestor), Vicky Chow (Payne) and Alice Jose (Eddie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Copeland's Sewickley (following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19); 702 Beaver St. Mass will be held at Divine Redeemer Parish and entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
He was Project Director and Treasurer of the PA Chapter of the World of Hope Foundation, a charitable organization helping the poor and needy children in the Philippines, India, and Mexico.
