She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bartlett and Marjorie Bartlett (Monday); her son Martin N. Scales; and her granddaughter Amanda Lynn Wharton. She is survived by: her children, Alison Scales, Mary Johnson, Katharine (Kenneth), Walter Trevor Scales, John Scales (California) and Jean Scales Betsch; and her grandchildren, Jessica Scales (Mexico), Alex Blonski (Gwen) of Colorado, Nicklos Scales (Pittsburgh), Jennifer Miklos (Scott), Melissa Costantini (Nick), Samual David Johnson (Pittsburgh) and Michael Wharton (Abby). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
