He was predeceased by: his wife Frances (Boyer); his parents, Alfred K. Mack, Sr. and Carrie Edna Mack (McFeaters); his brothers, Cletus, Forrest and Galen Mack; his son Joseph J. Mack; and his siblings, Norman Mack and Vernice Rosenberger.

He is survived by: his children, Carrie Mae (Terry Glessner), Walter (Joji) and Wayne (Karen); his grandchildren, Jason Glessner, Lee Glessner (Ashley), Sarah Stahl (Brandon), Jamela Campbell (Dan), Kristen Mack and Amie Mack; his great grandchildren, Elly Nagle, Cole Lindsey, Nevin Glessner, Heidi, Hallie, Haddie Glessner, Athena, Michael, Wyatt Stahl and Madelyn Campbell; his caregivers, Mallory, Pam, Mark, Courtney and Megan; and also Geno Bartoletti.

In lieu of Flowers memorial donations my be made to AseraCare Hospice or Wounded Warriors.
