He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Oberdick, Sr. and Ruth M. Oberdick (Baughman); and his son William D. "Obie" Oberdick, III. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Oberdick (Creager); his daughters, Wanda Widmyer (Tom) and Wendy Oberdick; his granddaughter Tara Herbst (Dave); and his siblings, Nancy Keech Kroft (John), Linda Spangler Lucabaugh (Fred), Robert Oberdick (Diane) and Craig Wentz (Alesia).
