We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dorotha Waymond Orwig of Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorotha is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorotha's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Columbus and Regina George (McCarrell); her husband William "Bill" F. Orwig; and her brother Richard Lum George. She is survived by: her sons, Randall "Randy", William "Tim" Timothy Orwig and Christopher "Chris" George Orwig (Shelley); her grandchildren, Nathan Randall Orwig, Nicholas "Nick" Robert Orwig (Emily), Hunter Lee Orwig (Jody) and Makayla Leann Orwig; and her brother William Paul George. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Freedom Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW (25 N Main St, Stewartstown, PA 17363).
