She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Larry" McClain Sr.; her children, Rick, Joey Kennedy, Larry Jr. (Andrea), Jennifer, Heather (Mike) and Erinn McClain; and her sibling Arbidella Garner.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joy's name to Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.
