He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene W. O'Neill and Sophia O'Neill; and his wife Charlotte O'Neill. He is survived by: his children, Karen Doherty (Tom), Mitch (Sally), David, Kelly Harris (Tony), Kristin Keelan (Tom), Grandpap (Kate) of Matthew, Megan, Chris (Carolyn), Elizabeth, Mallory, Adam, Alison, Amanda and Luke; his great grandchildren, Palmer, Landon, Lucy and Walker; and his brother Dennis (Shuna Zhao).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Eugene's name to The Bob Woodruff Foundation.
