He was predeceased by: his parents, Pirl D. Oakes and Helen Maxine Oakes (Beers). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Battin of Seneca, Randy Moorehead of Seneca, Amber Oakes of Maryland, Justice Oakes of Kennerdell, Stryker Puleo of Oil City and Keera Oakes of Seneca; his grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Connor and Olivia Moorehead; his siblings, Lorraine Sparks (Vernon) of Oil City, Rebecca Roseberry-Earp of Franklin, Tim Oakes of Kennerdell and Cindy Hanna (Thomas) of Tippery; and his close friend Tara Phillips of Seneca.
