Griffin of Seneca, Pennsylvania, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2024 at the age of 89. He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Beers Oakes; his children, Wiliam Griffin (Nancy Kowal-Griffin) of Oil City, Ron Griffin (Deborah) of Oil City and Beverly Sharrer of Oil City; his stepchildren, Lorraine Sparks (Vernon) of Oil City, Rebecca Earp of Nickleville, Manuel "Tim" Oakes of Kennerdell and Cindy Hanna (Tom) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Tracey Fike (David), Casey Griffin, Justin Griffin, Mike Bemis (Peggy), Terry Morrison (Amanda), Clair Clark, Tim Clark, Ashley Lynne Kowal Griffin (Justin) and Erin Marie Amsler (Dustin As); and also Minnie Oakes. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
