He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene A. Groner and Elizabeth A. McGillicudy Groner; and his brother Jerry Groner. He is survived by: his child Jean Machokas (Greg) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Jenelle and Kaylee; his daughter Leah Schettler (William) of Danielsville, GA; his grandchild Addison; his great-grandparent William James; his sister Kathryn Connor (Michael); his nephew Timothy Connor of Oil City; his close friend Thomas Wiggins (Phyllis) of Barre, VT; and his friends, Larry and Cathy James of Oil City.
