She was predeceased by: her husband John Richard McCoy of Seneca; her parents, Bernice Patton (Steffey) and Merle Patton; and her brother William D. Patton. She is survived by: her children, Michael McCoy (Valinda) of Cambridge Springs, Susan Piel (Robert) of Oil City, Elizabeth Buckholtz of McKean and Michele Murren (John) of Aspers; her grandchildren, Clint McCoy (Terra), Aaron McCoy (Kelsey), Jocelyn Miller (Nathan), Corey Piel (Kaitlynn), Sarah Buckholtz, Jacob Buckholtz (Samantha), Benjamin Buckholtz (Jessica), Silas Murren (Alison), Alaina Murren and Sullivan Murren; her great grandchildren, Riley McCoy, Kinley McCoy, Ellis, Owen, Callan Miller, Anderson, Lincoln Piel, Brice and Madison Buckholtz; her sister-in-law Barbara Gay Patton; and her nieces, Stacey and Dina Patton.
