He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kern and Esther Kern (Bergey); his son David R. Kern; and his sisters, Marlene Bivighouse, Rose Nace and Gloria Tucker.
He is survived by: his son Keith Kern (Sherry); his siblings, Larry Kern, Brian Kern and Jane Avender; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Landes and Margaret Stallings. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (821 W Broad St, Quakertown, PA 18951). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
