She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin K. Godshall and Hannah Godshall (Moyer); her husband Vernon L. Derstine; and her sister Betty G. Landis (Merrill). She is survived by: her children, Lamar Derstine of Hatfield, Neil Derstine (Linda) and Yvonne D. Brouse (Frank) of Hatfield; her grandchildren, Sherry Derstine (Jason Paonessa), Steven Derstine, Sandy Martin (Stephen), Natalie Oskowitz, Kristin Ridgway (David), Matthew Derstine (Marie Marc), Joshua Derstine (Erica), Shannon Brouse, Nicole Brouse and Jeriah Brouse; her siblings, Walter M. Godshall (Helen) of Telford, Grace M. Moyer of Hatfield, Thelma M. Bergey (Willard) of Morris, PA and Alda G. Kratz (Arlan) of Souderton; her sister-in-law Carol Godshall of Telford; and also, Jessica, Nikolas, Jake, Lilly, Kayli, David, Maddie and Nevaeh.
Throughout various seasons of her life, she enjoyed volunteering for her community through prison ministries during the holidays, the Penn Foundation Ladies Auxiliary and Liberty Thrift Store.
