He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Berner and Helen Berner (Slevenski); and his sister Pearl Kile. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Berner (Althouse); his sons, Steven G. Berner (Carol) of Barto, PA, David A. Berner (Sindy) of Coopersburg, PA and Thomas J. Berner of Bird Creek, AK; his grandchildren, Chad Berner, Joshua Berner (Denise), Kristy Baughman (Mark), Logan Berner and Austin Berner; and his great grandchild Caeden Baughman.
