She was predeceased by: her husband William P. Gehring; and her parents, William Hoffman and Rose Hoffman (Fagan). She is survived by: her sons, William R. Gehring (Loretta) of Ann Arbor, MI and Samuel V. Gehring (Dolores "Lori") of Sellersville. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
