He was predeceased by: his parent Douglas D.. He is survived by: his parent Reta Canfield; his wife Marian R. Canfield; his children, Melvin D. Canfield, Jr. (Melissa), Catherine Cotton (Tom), Theresa Brown (Glen Bastas) and Michael Canfield (Kris Lin); his grandchildren, Melvin III, Jessica, Allison, Dylan, Mariah, Collin and Andrew; his great grandchild MaryJane; and his brother Robert Canfield (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
