He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Mary Stokes and Donald Heintz; his children, Robert Murray and Michaelena Santarlas; his siblings, Cynthia "Cyndie" Gandy-Higbee of Anchorage, AK and William "Bill" H. Vancik, Jr. of Maricopa, AZ; and his aunt Marie Rogers of Philadelphia. He is also survived by many cousins and great friends.
