He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wertz; his sister-in-law Lois Marie Johnston; his nieces, Christine Johnston (Joe) and Kathy Johnston; and his nephew John Johnston, Jr. (Alexis). He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-niece and nephew.
