He was predeceased by: his parent Virgil Shipman; and his siblings, James Robert Shipman, Jerry Shipman, Rita Mackey, Margaret Bean and Mary Shipman.
He is survived by: his parent Genevieve Coughlin Shipman; his daughters, Tammy Shipman of Scranton and Cindy Birtel of Scranton; his stepsons, Peter Seidita (Carol), Anthony Seidita of Gouldsboro and Mark Seidita (Tiffany); and his siblings, Paul "Ronnie" Shipman of Scranton, Alice Warner of Scranton and Goldie Cale of Parkersburg, W. V.
