He was predeceased by: his parents, George Murphy and Grace Scholl Murphy; and his in-laws, Shirley and Bob Springer. He is survived by: his wife Diana Springer; his daughters, Carla Murphy and Eileen Vidmosko (Stephen); his sister Ann Hogan (Sam Fioretti); his nieces, Kathleen Madzin (Ed) and Grace Ann Hogan (Brian Joyce); and his great-niece Ellie Ann Puhalla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nativity Church (633 Orchard St, Scranton, PA 18505).
