He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis D. Flaherty and Helen Walsh Flaherty; and his siblings, Francis J. Flaherty and Margaret Rose Donachie. He is survived by: his wife Anne Kucy Flaherty; and his children, Lisa Flaherty of Mount Holly, Vt. and Thomas M. Flaherty.
