We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2023, at the age of 88, Thomas J. Langan of Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Langan and Elizabeth Reap Langan. He is survived by: his sister Judith Goffer (Michael); his sister Waverly; his nieces and nephews, Alexandra and Taylor Goffer of South Carolina; his brother Robert T. Langan; his niece Jessica Langan Spangenberg; his sons, Seamus, Finn Spangenberg, Brooks Lasher and Quinn Langan (Azaria Noud) of Colorado; and also Attorney Michael R. Goffer.

“To the entire Langan Family, My sincerest condolences, to all of the family. I remember Tommy fondly. I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Tommy through his brother Bobby, we played golf on numerous occasions. Always a gentleman! I know he loved retirement from the Post Office. Interestingly enough, my father and Tommy found each other, at the Muni and Pine Hills and played countless rounds together. My father was a retired Postal worker as well, so they had simpatico. God speed Tommy”
