He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Shoener and Greta Davis Shoener; and his brothers, Donald and Darwin. He is survived by: his wife Bernice E. Darmofal Shoener; his sister Barbara Bzdickand (John); his sister-in-law Mary Shoener; his children, Attorney Thomas J. Shoener, Donna Voldenberg (Frank), Lisa Malia (Michael) and Matthew K. Shoener (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Maxwell Shoener, Amy Kordish, Richard Karwaski, Lauren Pierce (Ron), Jessica Conway (Shane), Kelsey Fallon (Michael), Christian Fiore, Clorissa Blankenship, Angelica Lutz (Jared), Mikey, Jack, Joey and Tony Malia. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
