He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Travis; and his parents, Arthur Thomas and Margarett Decker Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Kelly, Lani, Amy, Roy and Eric. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
