He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Marie Castelline; and his sister-in-law Judy Mekilo. He is survived by: his son Michael Lazar (Mary); his grandchildren, Mark, Alyssa Lazar, Joseph, Lauren Mekilo, Morgan Lazar, Michael Lazar, Louis Sentafonte and Anya Mekilo; and his brother John Mekilo.
