He is survived by: his sons, Robert Spathelf Jr. (Ellen) and Jeff Spathelf; his granddaughters, Lilly Spathelf and Madison Day; his siblings, Donna Edwards, Sandra Luby, Ruth Horwatt (Peter), William Spathelf, Lawrence Spathelf (Sharon) and George Sutton Jr. (Kathy); and his daughter-in-law Karen Day. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
