Richard M. Lovenwirth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard M. Lovenwirth of Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Lovenwirth and Elizabeth Lovenwirth (Grossman); his wife Roberta Lovenwirth; his brother Edmund Lovenwirth; his sister-in-law Myra; his niece Karen Levy (Lovenwirth); his daughter Sallie Lovenwirth Benjunas; and also Leonard Benjunas.
He is survived by: his son Samuel Lovenwirth; his daughter-in-law Jodi (Arnovitz); his grandchildren, Benjamin Lovenwirth (Jessica), Hannah Lovenwirth and Adam Lovenwirth; his niece Michele Berman (Jack); and his stepsons, Bruce Markowitz (Esther), Hal Markowitz (Tiffany) and David Markowitz.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dalton Jewish Cemetery (105 Shoemaker Rd, Dalton, PA 18414).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
