It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph P. DelPrete of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl DelPrete and Antoinette DeStefano DelPrete. He is survived by: his wife Anna Tarantini; his children, Carl (Lynn), Michael (Maria) and Ann (Kevin); his grandchildren, Dominique Sheeran (John), Alexandria Rocchi (Ryan), Danielle Healey (Jacke), Alyssa Crimmel (Jeremy), Kevin Grebeck (Stacy), Michael DelPrete (Sara) and Matthew Grebeck; and his brother Carl (Angela). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and a niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM at the St. Lucy's Church (949 Scranton St, Scranton, PA 18504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations go to Boys and Girls Club of Scranton or St Francis of Assisi Kitchen.
