It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy A. Mattern (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Michael F.; her son Michael Mattern; and her brother Michael Seigle. She is survived by: her parent Rose Summa Seigle; her children, Nancy Ann Kaminsky (Lawrence) and Lawrence (Mary); her daughter-in-law Carol Mattern; and also, Virginia Beach, Cumming and Scranton. She is also survived by mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , 63 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701, in memory of her son; or the Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Blvd., Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22209, in honor of her great-grandson.
