He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Freund. He is survived by: his wife Frances A. DeFranco; his parent Ellen Conlon Freund; his children, Beth Schmidt of Dunmore, Katie Tullio (Jonathan), Jennifer Freund-Toomey (Christopher) of Scranton and Michael A. Freund (Marielle) of Olyphant; his grandchildren, Joey Schmidt, Danny Schmidt, Nicholas Tullio, Alyson Tullio and Michael H. Freund II; and his brother Jerome Freund (Roseanne) of Whitehouse, N. J.. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather and friend.
