" - Sam Aramando View Sign Joseph Tomeio, 62, of Dunmore, died Sunday after he lost his battle with cancer. He was educated in New Jersey schools and served in the United States Navy . Joe was employed as a chef at various local restaurants. He was currently employed at Santarelli's gas station (Pop Pops). Joe was loved by so many and will always be fondly remembered. Joe had a passion for cooking and always enjoyed detailing cars and visiting his favorite bar, Kuzzin's Café. But sports was his No. 1 thing, especially football. He was an avid Colts fan and a fan of Peyton Manning. He is survived by his beloved companion of more than 14 years, Mary Ellen Alfieri; his cats, Jack and Jill; his family and many friends. A special thanks to the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the kind and compassionate care he received during his battle.
