McGovern (Scranton, Pennsylvania), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGovern and Rose McGovern; his wife Patricia McGovern; and his brother Gerald McGovern. He is survived by: his children, Matthew McGovern (Yanni), Daniel McGovern (Nicole), Katherine Schwartztrauber (Jason), Bridget Stralka (Jonathan), Meaghan McGovern (Dunmore), Kevin McGovern (Scranton) and John McGovern (Celia); and his siblings, William McGovern, Thomas McGovern, Kathleen Pallavicini, Patricia Linhart and Marybeth Miskar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
