He was predeceased by: his brothers, James "Chocky" and Ernest Jr. "Ernie"; his parent-in-law Joseph Gambacorta; his brother-in-law Ralph Donato of Joseph Gambacorta; and also Anna Gambacorta.
He is survived by: his wife Carmella Gambo (Gambacorta); his daughters, Tamara Gregory, Gary Valvano, Lisa Gregory (Mark Woodyatt), John Gregory Jr. and Joseph M.; his wife Melissa Mecca Gregory; his granddaughters, Vincenza Rose of Dunmore and Gemma Grace of Dunmore; his sisters, Carmella Donato and Rosemary Cali (Anthony); his siblings-in-law, Betty Jean Gregory of Dunmore, Johanna Gregory, Angelo Gambo (Irene) and Joanne Gambacorta of Dunmore; and also, Papa and Dumfries. He is also survived by five nieces, nine nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous cousins.
