He was predeceased by: his brothers, James "Chocky" and Ernest Jr. "Ernie"; his parents, Joseph Gambacorta and Anna Gambacorta; and his brothers, Ralph Donato and Joseph Gambacorta.
He is survived by: his wife Carmella Gambo (Gambacorta); his daughters, Tamara Gregory (Gary Valvano), Lisa Gregory (Mark Woodyatt), John Gregory Jr. and Joseph M.; his wife Melissa Mecca Gregory; his granddaughters, Vincenza Rose of Dunmore and Gemma Grace of Dunmore; his siblings, Carmella Donato, Rosemary Cali (Anthony), Betty Jean Gregory of Dunmore, Johanna Gregory, Angelo Gambo (Irene) and Joanne Gambacorta of Dunmore; and also Papa.
