We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2024, at the age of 92, James M. Lynady Sr. (Scranton, Pennsylvania), born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Lynady and Pearl Wilber Gardner; and his former wife Kate Miller Lynady. He is survived by: his son James M. Lynady, Jr.; his brother Jack Lynady; his brother-in-law Chuck Howard; his daughter Kelly Shannon (Dave) of Perth, NY; and his grandchildren, Jack Raymond, Catherine Rose, Jake and Rachel (Joey).

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made in Jim's name to Maine Coast Heritage Trust at http://www.mcht.org.
