He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mare Fakler-Corwin (James) of Newburgh and Wayne Fakler of Wallkill; his siblings, Hermine Sproll of Neu-Ulm, Germany and Albrecht Fakler of Wildbad, Germany; his sister-in-law Heidi Fakler of Armbach, Germany; and his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Christian, Sydney, Jackson Alois, David Bryce, Joshua, Janessa, Craig and Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
