It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Rose DiLeo of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel DiLeo; her parents, Leo Hynosky and Anna Stanko Hynosky; her daughter Darlene DiLeo; and her siblings, Dolores "Tootsie" Finnerow, Marion DiLeo, Anne Hatcher, Dorothy Sampson, Donald, Robert and Joseph Hynosky.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Connelly (Raymond) of Bridgewater, NJ; and her grandson Louis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Helen's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
