It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Ramona Brown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, born in Ellicott City, Maryland, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley I. Brown; her parents, John Schmid and Ruth Schmid (Brown); her son Karl Eric Brown; and her brother John Schmid III.

She is survived by: her sons, S. Steven Brown of Camp Hill and James M. Brown (Maureen) of Central City. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
