She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Dougherty; her parents, Marco Mercado and Rose De Luca Mercado; her son Ronald Dougherty Jr.; her brother-in-law Eugene Sherotski; and her siblings, Marie Castellano, Angie Whitworth, Catherine Stevens, Richard Mercado and Raymond Mercado.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Kucharski (Bill), Cathy Burke (Pat) and Marco Dougherty (Sherry); her sisters, Deloris Sherotski and Margaret Abbott (Luke); her nephew Thomas Gillette; her niece Sandra Sherotski; and also Edith Slagus. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
