He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. and Anna Mechock Sewack; his daughter Michelle Sewack; and his sister Marlene Gillette. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his son Michael Sewack (Lori); his grandchildren, Morgan Sewack and Michael Sewack Jr.; his niece Cammie Castellano (Atty); his great-niece Grace Castellano; and his brother-in-law Tom Regan (Gail).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc. (1030 N Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
