She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Wheeler; her granddaughter Kate Snyder; and her sisters, Dorothy, Anna and Mildred.

She is survived by: her parent May Allen Wheeler; her children, Thea Peterson (Ed) of Scranton and Kurt Hellenberg (Lisa) of New York; her grandson Colby Hellenberg; and her great grandchild Haydon Snyder.
